In order to reduce the rate of infection in the State of Israel, in general and in the education system in particular,
we are launching the 'Education Shield' programme, which aims to detect early infection in the education system
by regular monitoring of students and teachers.
Students and teachers will be checked once a week, thus reducing intra-school infection, and this will make it possible
to continue to keep the school open.
Sampling and testing method:
1. The test will be done via a swab in the mouth and nose cavity. It’s important to emphasize:
The Ministry of Health recently updated the guidelines for sampling so that it does not cause pain (especially when
sampling through the nasal cavity).
2. The test will be performed by testing a large number of samples in one test tube, while rapid collection samples
are also sampled with a second sample inserted into a single tube.
- When the test result is negative the whole capsule is defined as negative.
- When the test result is positive all the capsule members will go into isolation and the positive student will be located
with the help of the single test tube.
The method was developed in Israel, was proven in an extensive pilot and approved by the Ministry of Health for current use.
Thank you for your trust and cooperation,
