ASSIGNMENT TO FIRST GRADE FOR THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR

Dear Parents,

We are pleased to inform you of your child's school assignment for the first grade for the 2020-2021 school year.

The assignment of children to first grade classes at elementary schools is based on registration districts that appear on the municipal website.  Click here to view the registration districts. 

What do you do now?

As part of the Privacy Protection and Information Security Law, we have added an identification code to the process, which you will be asked to enter during the online registration.  For your convenience, we have added this code to this letter, please keep this letter until you complete the registration process.  This code will be used to enter the system in the future.  

Click here to authorize the assignment of your child to the first grade.

Only after authorization will the school assignment process be completed.    For an answer or clarification, contact the school.

For your convenience, an information manual for students entering the first grade is posted on the Municipal Website.  For additional information, click on the link for the Hello First Grade Manual.

Transfer Requests

You may submit a transfer request to the Registration Unit at the Education Administration, by sending a detailed explanatory message. 

Click here to submit a transfer request by 11 Iyar 5780, 5.5.2020, together with the signed Confidentiality Waiver Form available on the website.  Send additional documents by email to rishum@raanana.muni.il according to the instructions on the website.  Please note the dates of submitting the transfer requests in the manual.

Residents who move to another city or relocate overseas

If your children will not be living in Raanana in the upcoming school year, please report this to the Registration Unit and the school by email and add a Registration Cancellation Form or a Relocation Overseas Form.

The Book Lending Project

The last date to register for the Book Lending Project is 5.6.2020.  You may not join the project after this date.  If you intend to change the school assignment or your child is a candidate for the Eligibility and Characterization Committees, please leave a check at the Education Administration's Finance Accounting Department at the Raanana Municipality.  Additional information will be provided by the school.

Accessibility and Allergies

The city of Raanana promotes the subject of accessibility according to the municipal vision and based on the accessibility law for people with special needs.  If your child requires specific accommodations due to a physical or sensory disability or pupils with allergies and those who are entitled to a medical aide, please mention this when registering online and notify  the school and the Elementary Education Department by email:  doritf@raanana.muni.il, or by phone:  09-7610376, click here for information on accessibility  at educational institutions
