Many diverse leisure activities are available in Raanana for all ages, on all days of the week.  These activities are held in the municipal cultural halls, youth clubs, at the libraries, public buildings, in the park and on the sports fields.

The municipality sponsors many artistic frameworks including musical troupes ("The Renanim" and "Tzeirei Ahuza"), choirs for adults, children and teenagers and theater clubs for young people and adults.  There are also many activities offered in the fields of both general and artistic gymnastics.  The Municipal Dance Center offers courses throughout the year – it organizes special projects and workshops and sponsors the "Kivun Acher" (literally, another direction) dance troupe.  The dance troupe performs at the many municipal events as well as at events outside of the city.

There are also many activities for the city's young people, including activities organized by youth movements, the municipal student council, the young counselors group (Madatzim) and the center for teenage counselors.

The municipality has earned a name for its athletic events.  It organizes annual projects, such as the Raanana Run, the Raanana Parade, as well as various sports competitions, amateur sports days, etc.   These events attract hundreds of the city's residents.
