7,000 children and youth have already registered for the Supplementary Education Programs run by the Informal Education Administration for the past 20 years.

The benefit of Raanana’s Supplementary Education System is that it is municipal, educational, professional, innovative and visionary.  Its programs set milestones for educating the next generation: fostering creativity and self confidence, developing hobbies, striving for excellence and introduction to the world of the stage.

The Supplementary Education programs include over 30 after-school programs and daycare with a variety of activities in the field of science, leadership and society, performing arts, sports, etc.  These programs include entertainment troupes:  “Pninei Hasharon”, “Efrochei Raanana”, “Horah Raanana”, Dance Academy, “Horah Dance” Raanana, “Supplementary Education 2010 Dance Troupe”, “Renana” Choir, Hasharon Magicians, “Pirchei Raanana”, “Renanot Singing Troupe.  These troupes perform at different municipal events, such as the Children’s Song Festival, the Adloyada Parade, Yom Yerushalayim, the Dance Parade, etc.
