In preparation for the national emergency exercise that will take place on 26.5.10, the Raanana Municipality will hold a Volunteers’ state of emergency conference for residents interested in enlisting and taking part in the municipal system for state of emergency.  The conference will be held at the HaMishkan Center for Music and Art at 19 Hashomer Street, and attended by Mayor Nahum Hofree, the City Manager, pensioners, youth and other volunteers.

17:30-18:00 – Registration and reception

18:00-20:00 – Greetings and review of the topics related to the local authority’s preparations for a state of emergency, behavioral code and methods of handling the population in a state of emergency, procedure for handling volunteers during an emergency.
