Dozens of Raanana children participated in the PuriMada, a Hi-Tech Day for Science and Art at the Eshkol Hapayis, which is run by the Informal Education Administration’s Informal Education Division.

Hi-tech days integrate science and art in an innovative and creative way, and are based on the extensive activity that takes place at the Eshkol Hapayis Center throughout the year for Raanana children.  The Eshkol Hapayis class offer interdisciplinary enrichment through experiential learning, focusing on the major elements of educating the next generation:  encouraging creativity, excellence and developing personal initiative.

As part of the PuriMada, the children participated in a variety of Purim activities:  “Purim Illusions”, “Purim Mystery”, “Computers in Costume”, “Camera Tricks”, “and Star Wars”.  There was also an activity with animals run by the “Supplementary Education Field School” and a lecture on “Popular Science.”

The city’s children are invited to continue to take part in the various activities offered at Eshkol Hapayis: the Hi-Tech College, cognitive development, interdisciplinary dance, interdisciplinary art, gifted children’s classes, science lovers club, etc.
