: The Mayor of Raanana, Nahum Hofree, is continuing his series of meetings with residents of the town. The third meeting, to be held next week, will deal with future areas of development: multi-year development and planning, transport and traffic, urban renewal and housing solutions.
The meeting will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Beit Yad Lebanim, at 19:00, with the Mayor, Nahum Hofree, deputy mayors, and members of the city council, including the chairman of the subcommittee for planning and construction, Adv. Eitan Ginsberg, the Managing Director of the municipality, Avi Laufer, and senior department heads who are responsible for different areas in the work of the municipality. During the meeting, there will be a municipal presentation reviewing the development of Raanana, and residents will be invited to ask questions on different topics.
This is the third meeting with residents held by the Mayor. In the past year, since his election to a second term, the Mayor has held two meetings with residents of the Kiryat Sharett and Rasco neighborhoods.
Mayor Nahum Hofree: "Meetings of this kind are of the greatest importance to strengthen our connection with local residents, involving a fruitful discussion of their needs, and providing answers to issues that interest the residents and are on the public agenda."
