New servers will enable advanced technology that will improve services for residents

The Municipality of Ra’anana continues to lead the way with technological improvements designed to enhance services to our residents.  Recently, a new server room was inaugurated designed to include new technologies that will help the city improve services to our residents.

The new server room will enable us to expand our data management and organization, improve information services, expand the range of services available to residents and enhance the technology environment for our employees.

The move to the new server room also marks a major step in our goal to become a “green” community. The servers feature significant energy savings while adding to the amount of data that can be stored.  It’s all part of our efforts to make Ra’anana paperless.

The new server center was opened by Mayor Nahum Hofree, the City Manager as well as other managers and employees.

Mayor Nahum Hofree: “The move to the new server center is all part of our efforts to become a smart city. We are embracing the most advanced technology in order to offer the most advanced, transparent, services including easy access to information by residents. The new server center improves the working environment, enabling us to maintain the highest levels of quality and service to all of our residents.
