For the 4th consecutive year, the Raanana Municipality will offer a rich and diverse summer program throughout the summer vacation, until the wee hours of the morning. Summer Night City is an extensive program run by the Culture, Youth and Leisure Division’s Youth and Young Adult Department, and will be offered from 27.6.10 to 30.8.10 at Raanana Park, the Municipal Youth Center at Gan Hanesi’im Park, the HaMartef Club etc.
The HaMartef Youth Club will be open nightly from 22:00 to 3:00 and will offer a variety of activities including a Reggae night, Open Mike with Klei Zemer, Metaling 3, the Atliz Band, “All the Hot Boys Over Here”, an artist’s workshop with Scuzzie, viewing the Mondial/World Cup, the FIFA tournament, the Hero Guitar tournament, a stand-up marathon, youth poetry readings with artist Eran Zur, a symposium for Tisha B’av and a tap dancing club that will host the Hebrew Community of Dimona.
Raanana Park: Activity every Wednesday from 23:00 to 3:00 – The Salon comes to the Park:
Food court, Shanti and experiential activities, free of charge. Also on offer is an open mike stage, in cooperation with the HaMartef Club and Klei Zemer and a concert by the Kartel.
Saturday night 28.8, an end of summer party will begin at 23:00 on the park’s basketball courts: food court, DJ, Shanti and game tables.
Midnight movies at the Park Cinema every Monday – NIS 15.
Nighttime Swimming at the Municipal Pool: NIS 15 on Tuesdays from 21:30 to 1:00.
Municipal Youth Center:
Night-time Meal every Sunday at 23:00 from 27.6 to 29.8 – NIS 10 per person. Italian, Chinese, sweet, Japanese, American, Chocolate, South American, Israeli and Beach Party meals.
Every Wednesday, the “Backyard” will be open – free of charge from 23:00 to 2:00: active leisure games, films, music.
Parties for grades 6-7 every Friday from 20:30 to 23:30.
The Mondial World Cup games will be projected onto a large screen, free of charge: for the quarter final, semi final and final.
Professional training for youth during the summer: Self defense; a fashion and styling week run by Shenkar School of Engineering; a theater workshop with the Ziporela Ensemble; graphics, animation, illustration and photography courses run by Shenkar; a comics workshop run in cooperation with Comics and Vegetables; a visit to ‘Dialogue in the Darkness’ at the Israeli Children’s Museum and a photography workshop with photographer, Yoel Shitrug.
The Raanana Municipality will operate a free nighttime shuttle service throughout the summer: Every night a nighttime shuttle bus service will be operated from 22:00 to 3:00 along Ahuza Street to and from the entertainment venues.
The Mobile Field Unit will also be operated: A nighttime mobile unit operated by the Youth and Young Adult Department between the hours of 23:00 and 3:00, which will patrol the public gardens and activity centers and offer cold beverages, games and talks into the night.

As part of this program, there will once again be a free shuttle bus service available, to and from the activity centers, for the benefit and convenience of our youth.”
