: A new exhibition by artist Lily David and sculptress, Sara Ezra, entitled “Dialogue Between the Hidden and the Revealed”, has opened recently at Raanana’s Gallery by the Lake. The artwork of the two artists acts as a dialogue between the revealed and the hidden and reflects universal content and emotions.
Sara Ezra: Sculptress has channeled her relationship to the human work to create sculpture that relays warmth, dialogue and a great deal of emotion. The human image serves as a means for her to relay experiences and moods. The figurative motif is also prominent in her abstract sculpture using outlines that strengthen the motion and flow and emphasize the dynamic experience of the world of emotion.
Lily David – artist – Examines concepts and situations using artistic methods such as line, color and words and she relates to life’s colorful nature as expressed in her wealth of color, materials and textures. Most of her work deals with man’s inner world and the impact that life has on him. She has developed a unique technique for painting that departs from the two dimensional and with the help of paper sculpture and many colors, she creates in three dimensions.
The official opening will be attended by Mayor Nahum Hofree and Deputy Mayor Ronit Weintraub – Director of the Culture, Youth and Leisure Division.
Gallery is open: From Sunday to Thursday and Saturday: 11:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 22:00; Fridays – 11:00 to 14:00.
