The camps are run by the Informal Education Administration’s Supplementary Education Division.

Before the camps opened, 200 camp counselors participated in a 3-day experiential training seminar that included lectures in the fields of safety and security, group dynamics and solidarity, leadership development and instilling environmental protection values.  They also took part in activities including social games and group leading, songs and movement, creative art and outdoor games.
