Members of the Israeli Sculptors Workshop Association Present: “Creative Processes from the Baron Workshop”

A new exhibition has opened at Raanana’s Gallery By the Lake: “Creative Processes from the Baron Workshop”.

Members of the Israeli Sculptors Workshop Association are exhibiting sculptures, reliefs and objects using a variety of materials.  The artwork was created at the workshop in Kfar Shmaryahu which is affiliated with Gallery Plus, where the workshop members regularly display their work along with guest artists.

The workshop members are instructed by sculptor, Harry Baron, who is the former director of the sculpture department at Tel Aviv’s Avni Institute, and he also established and taught at the Advanced Art Technology Workshop at the Berlin Academy.

The goal of the association is to encourage artistic activity and contribution to the community in the field of art.  The Israeli sculpture workshop association is a member of the international sculpture organization.

The grand opening of the exhibition was held on Saturday night 2.1.10 at 20:00 and attended by Mayor Nahum Hofree and Deputy Mayor Ronit Weintraub, director of the Culture, Youth and Leisure Division.

Gallery Hours:  Sundays to Thursdays from 10:30 to 13:30 and 17:00 to 20:30, Fridays from 10:00 to 13:00 and Saturday s from 11:00 to 20:30.
