The Raanana Municipality has recently completed work to implement a computerized system and innovative technology designed to improve the municipality’s work and make it more efficient.  The work was executed as part of an extensive project conducted by the Computerization and Information Technologies Division.

Upgrade of the telephony system at the Municipal Moked and the Tax Division:  The telephony system was replaced with new IP telephony that significantly improves service to the resident and provides information regarding the estimated wait time, your call’s place in line, smart transfer of calls that allows for load control, an option of leaving a telephone number to be called back, etc.  These improvements will lead to a reduction in the time the resident must wait to be answered.

Improved accessibility at the Municipal Moked:  Raanana is one of Israel’s pioneers in the field of online and direct access to the operators at the Municipal Moked through the internet.  Currently, an updated form is being launched that supports accessibility for people with special needs (with an option of enlarging the text for these users) and supports use from the various browsers.

Online access to the Ombudsman’s Office:  Currently, a form is being launched for online and direct inquiries to the ombudsman’s office through the municipal website.  This is additional access for residents’ in need of municipal assistance.  This form is also made accessible for people with special needs and supports use from various browsers.
