The party wrapped up the extensive summer activity run by the department throughout the summer vacation, in which thousands of the city’s youth took part.

Each night a different activity was planned, including trips, musical evenings and live performances at the HaMartef Club, activities at the Municipal Youth Center, night swimming at the Municipal Swimming Pool, the screening of films at the Park Cinema, etc.  A municipal shuttle service to and from the various entertainment centers was offered throughout the night, and security and patrols were increased.

The End of Summer Party included a graffiti wall, a Shanti area, game tables, a dance party and road safety simulators to encourage road and driving safety organized by the Municipal Road Safety Department and sponsored by the National Authority for Road Safety.  Simulation activities included an overturning car, and alcohol glasses.
