: The Raanana Municipality, in cooperation with the Open University and the Israel Employment Service, will hold an employment fair for academics and hi-tech professionals, who are residents of Raanana and the Sharon Region. Also involved in organizing the fair are hi-tech workers from the Social Services Division.
The fair is scheduled for Wednesday, 5.5.10 from 16:00 to 19:00 at the Open University Campus’ central patio and admission is free!
This if the first fair of its kind organized by the municipality, in order to offer Raanana residents direct access to various employers, a variety of jobs for people with seniority and professional experience, opportunities for professional retraining, along with lectures and employment information.
Dozens of leading companies will take part in the fair, including: ECI Telecom, the Tikshuv Group, Kalanit Carmon, Magellan Technologies Information Protection Ltd., Bank Hapoalim’s Technology Department, MalamTeam, Korentec Technologies and SignifiCast.
During the fair, a number of professional lectures will be offered: 16:30: Dr. Suzie Sofer-Roth, regional psychologist at the Employment Center, on the subject of identifying skills for self-marketing. 17:30: Dr. Chana Ornoy – MBA program at the Open University’s Department of Management and Economic, on the subject of Traveling Overseas for Work Purposes – Is It a Dream?. 18:30: Attorney Eran Cohen Tzur – Business Entrepreneurship Columnist for Ynet, on the subject of Business Entrepreneurship – Transition from a Salaried Employee to Independent Businessperson.
Mayor Nahum Hofree: “The Raanana Municipality is constantly working to expand the variety of its services on behalf of the residents, and to provide assistance in the field of employment, due to our commitment and concern for the welfare of all its residents.”
