Raanana’s Golden Age Club has opened a new course for women on the subject of the capital market.

This field, is often considered a man’s field, but the 24 women, in their 60s, who participate in the course, have decided to assume responsibility for managing their money and have joined this new course.  The course is offered once a week for eight weeks and teaches basic concepts and financial tools for managing money and to understand the complex financial world.

Bruria Verona, the course instructor, has been involved with the field of the capital market, investment consulting and proper family financial management for the past 30 years.  In the past, she served as director of the Bank Hapoalim investment department and as CEO of a portfolio and trust fund management company.

The response of the women to the course is very positive and they reported the great contribution of the content taught in the course.  In the future, additional courses are scheduled to open including advanced courses on this subject.

The municipal Golden Age Club is comprised of 2,000 members and acts as an activity framework for seniors, who take part in wide variety of courses and cultural and leisure activities.
