Raanana Park is the largest green space in the Sharon area, the jewel in the crown among dozens of gardens, playgrounds and landscaped areas that beautify the city of Raanana.

The park was established for the benefit and pleasure of Raanana's residents and the city's visitors.  The Raanana Municipality invested a large budget in establishing the park and continues to invest in its ongoing development.  The park's administration and employees ensure its cleanliness and upkeep as well as the security of its facilities for the welfare of its visitors.  The park offers visitors hours of enjoyment.

The park offers a myriad of possibilities for rest and relaxation, walking and bike paths, as well as activities on the sports fields and a visit to the zoological garden with its petting corner for children.  In addition, many sculptures of Israel's finest artists are on display and there is a lake and the Seven Species Garden, etc.

Rest and relaxation in a green environment:

Enjoy expansive lawns, pleasant sitting areas and walking paths.

Children's Playground:

Integrated playground equipment, swings, carousels, slides and climbing equipment for children and teenagers.

Outdoor Sports Facilities:

Soccer fields, basketball courts, hockey and rollerblade rinks and skateboarding areas.

Zoological Garden:

More than 100 animals and birds live in a natural environment.  Children are invited to visit the petting corner for a special "up-close" encounter with the animals.

Barbeque Area:

Barbeque pits, tables and water faucets are available to the park's visitors.

Observation Point:

A unique restful spot located at the park's highest point, where one can observe the landscape to the west, south and north.

The Lake:

Its clover shape is reminiscent of Raanana's city emblem.  There are two fountains in the lake and pedestrians can cross over it on the bridge.  The lake is surrounded by special gardens, including the Seven Species garden, and there are pleasant shaded walking paths alongside the lake.

The Amphitheater:

The amphitheater is designed for cultural events and artistic and musical performances for large audiences.  The finest Israeli and foreign artists have appeared and continue to give performances at the amphitheater.  It is one of Israel's finest architectural designs.  (Entrance to the amphitheater is through the northern gate and only during the scheduled times).

Artistic Exhibits:

The park offers cultural experiences and displays the work of Israel's finest artists.  Artists include Yehiel Shemi, Buki Schwartz, David Gerstein, Motti Mizrahi etc.

There is an entrance fee for non-resident visitors to the park on weekends, holidays and school vacations.

Parking:

Four parking areas are available to visitors:

-          The northeast parking lot – next to Kfar Batya

-          The southern parking lot – alongside the park across from the Mishan Retirement home.

-          The western parking lot – alongside the park, adjacent to the lake area.

-          The amphitheater parking lot – in the park's northwest corner.

Administration and Emergency Services:

On weekends, the park administration operates an information booth and provides first aid and emergency services.
