The municipal education department handles school registration for all students attending public elementary, middle and high school.

Registration requirements:

Valid housing contract (to prove local residence in Raanana).

• Teudat zehut, for children and parents. (If not available birth certificate or passport)
• Teudat oleh if available
• Report cards for the past year, educational testing and any additional relevant documentation; while English language reports are acceptable, translation to Hebrew is recommended.

Prior or upon moving to Raanana students and parents will have a personal interview with school principal and/or guidance counselor.

Elementary School Grades 1-6:  Raanana has numerous elementary school options. There are religious and secular schools. Students attend school in their residential district. The TALI option offers secular education with Jewish enrichment.
