Former Raanana Mayor, Binyamin Wolfovitz Dies

Wolfovitz served as mayor from 1969-1989, helping Raanana develop from a small town to a city and to develop the infrastructure that turned Raanana into a vibrant, modern flourishing city

The 19th Annual Children’s Song Festival: Raanana’s children sing about “protecting the world”

This Sunday, thousands of Raanana residents packed the Municipal Sports Arena to watch the 19th annual children’s song festival: “Protecting the World”.

Municipal employees, students and dozens of residents took part in a variety of sports activities held across the city

Raanana’s Hasharon Team is national champion In girls’ volleyball for middle schools

. At the end of a series of tough and intensive games in the eights, quarter and semi finals, the team won the final game against Kfar Saba’s Bar Lev team 3:1 and won the championship!

For the 9th consecutive year, Raanana hosts the Israeli ceramics fair – “Kad Vachomer”

The official opening will be attended by Mayor Nahum Hofree and Deputy Mayor Ronit Weintraub, on Tuesday, 17.6.08 at 18:00 in the evening, at the Raanana Park lake. The exhibition will be presented as an outdoor gallery around the lake, from Tuesday to Thursday – 17.6.08-19.6.08 from 18:00 to 23:00.
